Employers Weigh in On Mandatory COVID-19 Vaccination
Employment and labor law firm Littler Mendelson P.C. recently surveyed 1,800 companies to see whether they planned to require employees be vaccinated against COVID-19. According to the COVID-19 Vaccine Employer Survey Report:
- .5% of respondents currently mandate vaccination for all employees
- 6% of respondents plan to mandate vaccination for all employees once vaccines are readily available and/or the FDA grants full approval
- 3% of respondents plan to only require vaccination for certain employees (such as those who interact with customers)
- 48% of respondents will not require all employees to be vaccinated
- 43% of respondents are still considering the possibility of a vaccine mandate
