Falls can happen in any workplace, at any time, to anyone. But when you are working at a height, such as ona ladder or scaffold, the risk of suffering a serious, possibly fatal fall, increases significantly.
If you cannot prevent a fall hazard by altering the task or using engineering controls, you may need to use apersonal fall arrest system, or PFAS.
